About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and components for oil and gas projects
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, and design documentation
  • Review and approve vendor drawings, datasheets, and technical submittals
  • Perform mechanical integrity assessments and fitness-for-service evaluations
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across project phases
  • Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations
  • Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction and commissioning
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and resolve mechanical engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in oil and gas or energy sector engineering projects
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, EN, ISO)
  • Proficiency with CAD software and engineering analysis tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset

Certifications
