About the Role
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and components for oil and gas projects
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, and design documentation
- Review and approve vendor drawings, datasheets, and technical submittals
- Perform mechanical integrity assessments and fitness-for-service evaluations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across project phases
- Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations
- Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction and commissioning
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and resolve mechanical engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in oil and gas or energy sector engineering projects
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, EN, ISO)
- Proficiency with CAD software and engineering analysis tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset

Certifications
EUR ING (European Engineer) or PE equivalent (preferred)
