Production Operator - Offshore Qatar

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties as assigned by the Senior Operator during station startup and normal operations
• Line up separators and wells to manifolds in accordance with established procedures
• Start and operate turbine-driven pumps and gas compressors
• Prepare and dose chemicals for oil treatment processes
• Start up and monitor the glycol dehydration system
• Conduct pigging operations on pipelines
• Take readings and perform tests on gas and oil products as directed
• Monitor process parameters and report abnormalities to the Senior Operator
• Maintain equipment logs and complete daily operational reports
• Comply with all HSE regulations and permit-to-work procedures
• Participate in emergency response drills and safety exercises

Qualifications

• Completion of Secondary (12 years) education followed by at least two (2) years of technical training.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a production operator in oil and gas operations.
• Good knowledge of English language with respect to speaking and writing.
• Familiarity with separator, compressor, and glycol dehydration system operations.
• Basic understanding of HSE procedures and permit-to-work systems.
