About the Role
Responsibilities
- Provide regional/local supervision, support and deployment across one or more key IT areas: Applications, Business Unit, Customer Service, Infrastructure, Program Management, or Service Delivery Center
- Manage application architecture, standards and tools, software licensing, release management, and portfolio management
- Align IT capabilities with business unit needs through demand management, customer advocacy, and project management
- Oversee customer services including service desk operations, security administration, desktop support, and problem management
- Manage infrastructure services including network operations (WAN/LAN), server management, firewall management, and software distribution
- Lead program management activities including communication planning, process development, project prioritization and monitoring
- Supervise staff directly or through subordinate supervisors; coordinate diverse activities within the functional area
- Define and govern data and reporting platform architecture to integrate applications and data across complex enterprise landscapes
- Drive development and support of major data platforms including Oracle, Microsoft, and SAP Business Data Cloud
- Deliver Business Intelligence and Data Analytics reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Qlik Sense
- Manage supplier relations and vendor performance where applicable
- Plan work and administer policies across a large staff or support arm of the organization
Qualifications
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in MIS or Computer Science required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT which includes experience in application development, systems analysis, systems integration, enterprise level application integration and management experience.
- Experience with the development and support of major data platforms including, but not limited to Oracle, Microsoft and SAP Business Data Cloud.
- Experience in delivering Business Intelligence and Data Analytics reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, SAP Analytics Cloud and Qlik Sense.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
