About the Role
Vestas's Blade Team in Greece operates with an open, informal culture where teamwork and communication drive results across blade maintenance and repair contracts. This role covers two site locations — Livadeia and Chalkida — with national and international travel expected, offering hands-on exposure to a specialized and growing discipline within the global wind energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair wind turbine blades at site locations in Livadeia and Chalkida.
- Perform blade maintenance including fiberglass laminate repair and surface coating work.
- Conduct visual and non-destructive inspections of blade surfaces and structural components.
- Complete and submit accurate service reports for all maintenance activities.
- Travel nationally and internationally to perform blade repair work as required.
- Adhere to all site safety protocols and Vestas health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous technical experience in a hands-on maintenance or repair role.
- Prior blade repair or composite/fiberglass repair experience is advantageous.
- Communicative knowledge of English.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Class B driving license.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
