Senior Contracts Engineer - Qatar

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact with Contracts Department and end-user departments in relation to tendering, contract management, contract compliance and contract issues.
• Provide professional advice, expertise, and practical assistance in pre and post contract advisory services consistent with QP regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist end-user departments by monitoring ongoing contracts, contract replacement and extension notifications.
• Review and finalize department input to Contract Request Documents (CRD), tender bulletins, and tender clarifications.
• Evaluate tenders and represent the OMS(O) department in various tender and evaluation committees.
• Ensure contract compliance with FIDIC General Conditions of Contract (GCOC) and applicable standards.
• Prepare and maintain contract documentation, correspondence, and compliance records.
• Advise on contract disputes, claims management, and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• 10 Years Contract management/administration experience.
• B.Sc. in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of FIDIC GCOC.
