Electrical Technician I-III - Downhole Tools

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on downhole tool electronics and equipment, including Directional/RSS or M/LWD sensors.
• Assemble and disassemble downhole tools associated with PSL equipment.
• Conduct calibration and testing of electronic and mechanical downhole tool components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in downhole tool electronics and mechanical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and calibration activities.
• Ensure all work is carried out in a safe, efficient, and effective manner in compliance with company procedures.
• Support MWD/LWD tool preparation and post-run maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Technical school certificate or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Entry-level; relevant academic background in electrical, electronics, or mechanical technology.
• Mechanical and electronics aptitude with ability to work with precision instruments.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Candidates with experience exceeding minimum requirements may be considered for Electrical Technician II or III roles.
