About the Role
Subsea Solutions seeks an experienced sales / business development professional to seek out new clients, manage existing clients and generate new business. Promote Subsea Solutions Auditing, Training and RTM services to oil and gas clients. To be successful in this position, the candidate should have established contacts with operators (oil companies) and drilling contractors in the upstream drilling, exploration and well intervention area. Examples of these contacts would be drilling superintendents, drilling managers, or subsea reliability team leaders.
Responsibilities
- Contact current and potential clients via telephone and email on a regular basis, including cold calling.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and growth.
- Identify decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations who directly contract subsea auditing, training, and RTM services.
- Make physical visits to clients to discuss business activities and submit visit reports.
- Identify out-of-the-box job opportunities to supply services not currently provided.
- Maintain an ongoing summary of contacts and potential jobs for presentation in weekly status meetings with company management.
- Manage incoming client inquiries, provide quotes, and manage the quote follow-up process.
- Provide marketing content to the Office Manager to assist with social media presence.
- Participate in meetings with company management and staff to summarize activities and discuss new business opportunities.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity in business dealings with external clients and internal company personnel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; minimum three years of international/domestic oil and gas sales or business development experience.
- Established contacts with operators and drilling contractors in upstream drilling, exploration, and well intervention.
- Must have a dependable vehicle with insurance for traveling to clients and attending conferences.
- Must have a good driving record and valid driver's license.
- Must have a valid passport for possible visits to international clients.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
