Wind Turbine Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of wind turbines to ensure reliable power generation.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve turbine faults.
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with Vestas service agreements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols including LOTO, fall protection, and confined space procedures.
• Document work activities, maintenance records, and parts usage in Vestas systems.
• Collaborate with the site team to share best practices and optimize turbine performance.
• Accurately time code all work activities to track task duration and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2+ years in electrical or mechanical fields.
• Experience with electrical systems, mechanical equipment, or hydraulics.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights of 60-100 meters.
• Valid driver's license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions in English.
