Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of wind turbines to ensure reliable power generation.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve turbine faults.
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with Vestas service agreements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols including LOTO, fall protection, and confined space procedures.
- Document work activities, maintenance records, and parts usage in Vestas systems.
- Collaborate with the site team to share best practices and optimize turbine performance.
- Accurately time code all work activities to track task duration and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2+ years in electrical or mechanical fields.
- Experience with electrical systems, mechanical equipment, or hydraulics.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights of 60-100 meters.
- Valid driver's license.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions in English.
