Responsibilities
- Ensure wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance.
- Work as part of a team (minimum two people) to repair turbines and resolve faults.
- Analyze electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify root causes.
- Provide systematic approaches to error analysis and troubleshooting.
- Develop repair methods and document work procedures for training and operational use.
- Conduct training and instruction sessions for field technicians.
- Communicate the process landscape and train new employees in maintenance activities.
- Document all work digitally in a simple and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.
- 60 months (5 years) of relevant professional experience as a service technician for Vestas wind turbines.
- Completed EFK or EFFBA qualification and high voltage switching authorization.
- Comfortable working at heights and capable of operating safely above ground level.
- Familiarity with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps; SAP experience preferred.
- Valid Class B driver's license (financial support for Class BE may be available).
- Very good German language skills (Level B2) and good English skills (Level B1).
