About the Role

Eni's MEDEA Master's program offers an immersive one-year education in energy and environmental economics, combining academic rigor with direct industry exposure. The program features an interdisciplinary curriculum delivered by faculty from leading Italian and international universities alongside Eni experts, with hands-on learning through plant visits and project work. Full scholarships covering the 50,000 euro enrollment cost and a monthly stipend of 1,500 euros gross are available.

Responsibilities

  • Attend structured lectures, flipped classroom sessions, and blended training modules on energy and environmental economics.
  • Participate in case study analysis and project work assignments covering energy market topics.
  • Engage in learning-by-doing activities and apply theoretical concepts to real-world energy and environmental challenges.
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and guided tours of industrial plants.
  • Complete research and project assignments as part of the Master's program curriculum.
  • Collaborate with peers and faculty from Italian and international universities on interdisciplinary studies.
  • Develop knowledge of energy markets, environmental management, and sustainability frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Italian candidates: Master's degree in Italy with a final grade of no less than 105/110 (or 95/100) obtained in Economics or Engineering faculties, or an equivalent academic qualification abroad; date of birth on or after 1/1/1999; excellent knowledge of the English language. Applications are accepted from Italian candidates whose degree is expected by July 31, 2026. These candidates must indicate in the application form the average grade of exams, the expected grade in the master's degree, and the session date.
  • International candidates: Degree obtained from a recognized university, in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Statistics, Law, Political Science, International Relations faculties; date of birth on or after 1/1/1995; excellent knowledge of the English language.
