Field Service Specialist I - Angola

Responsibilities

• Rig up and rig down service line equipment on work locations both onshore and offshore.
• Plan and prepare for jobs including equipment setup, well site direction, and customer-related support activities.
• Maintain, set up, test, and operate equipment at customer locations and field camp.
• Mentor and train lower-level Service Operators and Operator Assistants in areas of expertise.
• Monitor instruments and perform necessary calculations to ensure quality of data at the well.
• Consult with customers concerning services and products, promote good customer relations at the well site, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Check and verify equipment per job plan, properly maintain equipment, and complete all job documentation.
• Conduct pre-job toolbox safety meetings, review and verify job plans with customer representatives, and manage any required changes.
• Support underbalanced drilling and managed pressure drilling operations as directed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of experience in oil field drilling activities.
• 3+ years of experience in underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Svc Specialist I-GBA.
