Accountant

Responsibilities

• Understand the company's business systems, business processes, and internal controls relative to the assigned location and department.
• Prepare accounting reports and increasingly complex accounting analyses with related spreadsheets or application inputs.
• Identify and resolve accounting issues and escalate as appropriate.
• Prepare and post journal vouchers for accounting transactions.
• Research and resolve basic accounting issues and transactions including related internal controls.
• Develop familiarity with US GAAP or applicable country-specific accounting principles.
• Support moderately complex aspects of general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
• Understand the organizational structure of the company and maintain working relationships with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of nine (9) months of experience in accounting-related roles.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with experience exceeding minimum requirements will be considered for higher-level roles.
