Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to maximising Idd El-Shargi field economic recovery through production monitoring, well surveillance, and optimization activities.
• Create and deploy systems and applications for use by operations teams.
• Support production operations performance management and field operations engineering.
• Develop and maintain field operations management systems.
• Monitor well performance and reservoir behavior to identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with subsurface and operations teams to implement production enhancement initiatives.
• Generate production reports and dashboards for operations and management review.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within production management systems.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven experience in creating and deploying systems and applications for use by operations teams in roles including production operations, performance management, field operations engineering, and field operations management systems.
• Bachelor of Science in any Engineering field or equivalent, or higher equivalent degree in business information systems, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with production monitoring tools and well surveillance workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with data management and reporting systems used in oil and gas operations.
