Drilling Completion and Engineering Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory and oversight on drilling completion and engineering operations in Indonesia
• Review and approve well designs, drilling programs, and completion strategies
• Supervise rig site drilling operations and ensure compliance with SKK Migas regulatory requirements
• Mentor and develop local drilling engineering teams
• Lead planning, budgeting, and cost control for drilling and completion activities
• Conduct performance monitoring and post-well reviews to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities
• Liaise with regulators, partners, and stakeholders on drilling and completion matters
• Ensure all operations comply with HSE standards and company policies
• Evaluate and recommend drilling technologies, tools, and service providers
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to management

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry, with extensive offshore drilling exposure.
• Proven expertise in drilling engineering, well design, and operations management.
• Experience as a rig site drilling supervisor is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with Indonesias upstream regulatory environment and SKK Migas requirements.
• Strong technical proficiency in well engineering, drilling technologies, and operations management systems.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Skilled in planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
• Safety-driven mindset with demonstrated ability to handle complex technical and operational challenges.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital platforms for reporting, analysis, and technical documentation.
