About the Role
Entry-level opportunity within Halliburton's Completion Tools division based in Georgetown, Guyana. This hands-on role involves assembling and disassembling downhole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment under direct supervision. Ideal for candidates beginning their career in the tool technician family within oilfield services.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble downhole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment
- Perform maintenance and repairs on downhole tools and surface equipment
- Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness on site
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement processes
- Communicate effectively with team members during oilfield service operations
- Operate and potentially drive commercial equipment as required
Qualifications
- Completion of a technical diploma or High School/Secondary education
- Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on downhole tools, surface equipment, and production equipment
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Valid commercial driver's license may be required
