About the Role
Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to optimize wind farms during their life cycle, ensuring maximum capacity of wind turbines. Working in pairs and reporting to the Area Supervisor, the role involves curative and preventive maintenance of turbines following Quality, Safety and Environment standards, ensuring smooth turbine operation and reporting on interventions.
Responsibilities
- Carry out curative maintenance of turbines to optimize performance following Quality, Safety and Environment standards
- Ensure smooth operation of turbines and control the operation of different elements at all stages of intervention
- Carry out preventive maintenance of turbines according to current rules or work instructions, including complete refurbishment
- Report on interventions
Qualifications
- BTEC Higher National Diploma, BTS/DUT industrial or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, certified by BZEE if possible
- Ideally 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or electricity, with knowledge of high voltage
- Knowledge of technical English (written/spoken)
- Familiar with the Office Pack
- Motivated, autonomous, results-oriented, innovative
- Mobility required as trips are planned for the activity
- Good communication and team spirit
- Solid commitment to safety, ability to work at height
