Laboratory Technician - Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Design and testing of drilling fluids and completion fluids
• Develop and implement laboratory project testing, keep project reports
• Assist with laboratory-process quality assurance and the development of laboratory procedures
• Technical support for the operation
• Calibration and maintenance of laboratory testing equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Petroleum or Chemistry. Extensive experience may compensate for lack of formal education. Extensive experience with lab work is desirable
• Firm computer skills
• Strong technical understanding
• Proficient communicative skills in Norwegian and English, spoken and written
• Strong analytical abilities; Independent; Cooperative skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team is important
• Good communicative skills; You thrive in a busy and pulsating environment
• You must be responsible, flexible, willing to learn, accurate, and you must have initiative
