Senior Strategic Sourcing Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Under broad direction, leads the Strategic Sourcing Team guides team through the strategic sourcing process to determine the optimum solution for internal customer needs based on market capabilities.
• Analyzes, develops and leads the implementation of the global sourcing strategy for designated projects usually lasting for six to nine months.
• Reduce Total Cost of Ownership without compromising business strategy.
• Manage and oversee annual sourcing spend typically exceeding $100 million USD across complex categories.
• Manages data analysis, cost modeling, and RF(x) development on spend for designated projects; leads the team through processes to conduct internal needs analysis; determines optimum supplier solutions; selects strategic suppliers and negotiates agreements.
• Develops and executes implementation plans to ensure the successful implementation of sourcing strategy.
• Drive direct value creation through supplier negotiations, contract structuring, and category management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
• Demonstrated experience managing high-value sourcing projects ($100M+ spend)
• Strong analytical and cost modeling skills
• Experience with RF(x) processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
• Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP/procurement systems (SAP Ariba preferred)
