About the Role
Saipem is a global leader in engineering and construction for the energy and infrastructure sectors, operating in more than 50 countries with approximately 30,000 employees. This role sits at the heart of the Bonga Nigeria North project, managing expatriate crew changes and personnel logistics through the Cotonou hub while ensuring full compliance with West African immigration, tax, and HR governance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and supervise expatriate crew change and personnel logistics activities via Cotonou
- Ensure full compliance with immigration, tax, corporate HR governance and local regulations
- Grant effective coordination between HR and Logistics to ensure seamless offshore personnel rotation
- Supervise marine agency activities related to personnel movements and port calls
- Ensure cost control, operational efficiency and documentation accuracy in all personnel logistics processes
- Co-ordinate expatriate crew changes (signers/on-signers) via Cotonou hub
- Liaise with marine agents for inward/outward clearance, manifest preparation and immigration formalities
- Supervise passport handling, batch submission and entry/exit stamping procedures
- Co-ordinate airport transfers, hotel arrangements and offshore transfer logistics
- Review and verify marine agent invoices related to personnel logistics (first-level approval)
- Monitor compliance of expatriate mobilization with visa, Landing permit and tax requirements
- Ensure no mobilization occurs without proper documentation and Project approval
- Interface with HR and AFC for tax and expatriate compliance matters
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Logistic Coordinator in EPC company
- Fluency in French and English
- Ex-Saipem employees are encouraged to apply
- 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in an offshore oil and gas EPC environment
- Knowledge of West African immigration regulations and expatriate mobility processes
- Experience interfacing with marine agents, immigration authorities, and HR departments
