About the Role
The position provides administrative and programmatic support to the Access Authorization and Fitness-for-Duty (FFD) programs, ensuring compliance with 10 CFR Part 37 (Physical Protection of Category 1 and Category 2 Quantities of Radioactive Material) and 10 CFR 73.56 (Personnel Access Authorization Requirements for Nuclear Power Plants).
Responsibilities
- Administer and support the Access Authorization (AA) program in compliance with 10 CFR Part 37 and 10 CFR 73.56.
- Administer and support the Fitness-for-Duty (FFD) program ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Reviews and analyzes various reports on financial, business operations, plant operations indicators and data
- Conducts assessments or audits of various operational activities
- Coordinates and interacts with various levels of company management and external parties
- Process personnel access authorization requests and maintain accurate records.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 4+ years
- Bachelor's Degree
- In absence of degree, 6+ additional years of experience (1.5 years of experience per year of post-secondary education)
- Knowledge of 10 CFR Part 37 and 10 CFR 73.56 regulatory requirements
- Experience with nuclear access authorization or fitness-for-duty programs preferred
